Scout Troop 99 and Tayamentasachta Environmental Center Recycling Christmas Trees January 9
Boy Scout Troop 99, in partnership with the Tayamentasachta Environmental Center, will be collecting Christmas trees throughout Greencastle Borough on Saturday, January 9. Anyone interested in recycling their trees is asked to place it on the curb by 9 a.m. the morning of the event.
December 7 Virtual Borough Council Meeting Instructions
The December 7 Borough Council meeting will be conducted virtually. If anyone has a question or concern they wish to present to Council, please submit your information to office@greencastlepa.gov by 10 a.m., Friday, December 4.

MARKS LAWNCARE TO COLLECT LEAVES WEEK OF NOV. 23
In light of the closing of Borough offices due to COVID, Mark's Lawncare will assist with the collection of leaves Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday the week of November 23. LEAVES WILL NOT BE COLLECTED ON THANKSGIVING DAY. Further, Mark's Lawncare WILL NOT necessarily follow the schedule put forth by Public Works.
This modified leaf collection schedule is for one week only. The Public Works department will determine the status of the program for the rest of this season when it resumes office hours next week.
Residents should pile leaves on the sidewalk making sure to avoid any nearby storm drains. DO NO PLACE LEAVES IN THE STREET OR ALLEYWAY. All cars should be removed from the leaf collection area to allow the vacuum truck access to the leaves.
